What Is IPL?

IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses broad-spectrum light to address various skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation, sun damage, redness, and unwanted hair. Unlike lasers, which use a single wavelength of light, IPL emits multiple wavelengths, allowing it to target different layers of the skin simultaneously. During an IPL treatment, light pulses are directed at the skin, where the pigment in dark spots, blood vessels, or hair follicles absorbs them. This light energy is converted into heat, which helps to break down the targeted cells while stimulating collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. The result is a more even skin tone, reduced redness, and smoother texture. Multiple sessions are typically required for optimal results.

  • Improves Skin Texture: Stimulates collagen production, leading to smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

  • Versatile Use: Can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas of the body.
